Which spelling to use
窯窯 is the most common of the three written forms. It is a kanji-only spelling and is the form learners are most likely to encounter in writing.
竈竈 is less common than 窯 but more common than 竃. It is also written only in kanji and appears as an alternative written form.
竃竃 is the least common of the three written forms. For beginner learners, however, it is the default form to use.
